  • All articles should be as concise and detailed as possible. Stubs are acceptable for items that have limited details or are historically poorly documented.
  • Articles about users and arcades will be heavily regulated. If the person or location in question have not had a major impact on the community or have some type of compelling history they will be removed. Users wishing to have details for themselves present are free to make use of namespace articles.
  • Articles should be written from an unbiased standpoint unless both sides of an argument or viewpoint are present.
  • Cite specific articles, forum posts or sources whenever possible.
  • Please do not copy verbatim from other sources; our goal is not to reproduce existing works, but rather compile a new set of information from various sources. While perhaps legal to copy such information, it does not serve any purpose.
  • Slander and defamation of character are unacceptable. When creating an article about a specific user, being mildly cynical is acceptable within reason as long as sources are provided to show an example of why the tone in question is acceptable.
  • Account registration isn't necessary, but is appreciated as it makes it easier to track modifications. In the future the wiki may be tied into the forums as to keep down on multiple accounts and make it easier for everyone involved.
  • Anyone caught blatantly breaking the rules or modifying content in a negative fashion will receive an instant ban from the wiki, and will receive anything from a warning to immediate ban on bemanistyle as a whole.
  • When editing discussion pages, sign your posts with four tildes at the end (~~~~), which will place your name, and the time of the post at the end.
  • Aside from that, have fun and don't stress being too professional. This project belongs to everyone and as such we want everyone to be able to enjoy it.
